A Bank not a Vet!

Yesterday morning we eventually forced the steel gate open and exited the deserted campsite, our escape was watched enviously by some locals as they stood around a barbeque they had started at 9.00am. A queue of youngsters was forming at a pedestrian gate ready to pay their fee to use the pool and listen to the music that was blaring out from the speakers. It was a reasonably early start as the dawn chorus in these parts belongs to the local dogs.
Both our sat navs said the Bank was 0.5 miles away, when we got there it was a Vets Surgery. I showed a local lady the list of banks on the sat nav screen, she selected one, I pressed go, 0.8 miles later we arrived at Tesco’s, inside was a Western Union bank kiosk.
With some Hungarian Forints in our wallets we left Ozd and headed towards Tokaj which is still in Hungary, our selected route took us through the Bukki Nemzitti Park, great roads with virtually no traffic. This was a very twisty road with some challenging section of loose gravel and the occasional worker clearing recently fallen trees, a great ride.

We stopped for lunch at Bukkszenthereszt, pronounce that if you can, after lunch the roads got better and in places a little trickier.

When we arrived at Tokaj we found another campsite that we had to break into and there was only one other tent, our 2 made 3 in total. Walked into town to sample the excellent Tokaj wine, great evening.
