Monday 19 November 2018 – 267 miles
The Carretera Austral, Chile’s route 7 runs for 1240 kilometres through Patagonia. Today’s ride took us along a selection of this road.

A lot of the riding was on the dirt. It had rained all night and continued to rain, very hard at time’s, for the entire ride.
Part’s of the gravel section’s were challenging, steep gradients with 180 degree bends. This made for some interesting moments and a real sense of achievement once the accommodation had been reached safely.
