Saturday 1 December 2018 Lago Blanco to Punta Arenas, Chile – 274 miles
It was a slow and nervous start this morning. I stopped every few miles to ring the spokes to check the two I had replace and those I had adjusted, remained tight. After each stop I gradually increased my speed as my confidence in the repairs increased.
The long ferry over the Magallen straits was undergoing maintenance. As a result we rode a 100 mile diversion to catch the ferry for the shorter crossing.
The 100 mile diversion was on gravel roads!
