I crossed over the Rhine from Germany to France at Colmar. A group of 15 UK motorcycles stopped at the café as I was leaving, they were part of a group of 25 with White Rose Motorcycle Tours. That large a group must be challenging for the organiser.
It was a great days riding in warm sunshine with blue skies. In the middle of the afternoon I headed to a 3 star campsite I know at Vittel, its good value with clean facilities and is less than a mile from the town center.
Collecting a bottle of wine and some fresh food from the supermarket I put the tent up and enjoyed the warm sunshine for a couple of hours.
A band was playing in the center of town, I wandered down for a look and a beer.
