Yesterday we had a relaxing day in Santiago. Today we headed South today for a nights stay In Los Ángeles. Yes, there is a Los Ángeles in Chile.
The weather was kind, clear blue skies and warm sunshine for the ride South. Despite an iconic name, this part of the Trans American Highway is still a boring high-speed motorway. Sometimes that’s the price you pay to get more quickly to the interesting bits of the journey.
Hotel Salto De Laja is a collection of bungalows in parkland, they overlook a waterfall that crashes into the river below. A good place for a beer after the first day back on the bike.
