Thursday 6 December 2018 Puerto Madryn to Viedma, Argentina – 275 miles
A day of straight roads, the slightest bend was a welcome diversion.
For the first part of the journey I was travelling through a sparsely populated wilderness. The only real evidence of mans activity was the road I was travelling on.
As the day wore on the landscape changed, there was much more evidence of agricultural. Huge fields contained herds of cattle grazing the grass land.
That night we stayed in Viedma on the banks of the river Negro. On the opposite side of the river is town of Carmen de Patagones, the oldest settlement in Patagonia.
